date night style.

when *g* and i were first married, i used to fall victim to matching our outfits.

horrible, i know.

since then my opinion about color coordinating with your partner has changed, and i no longer think that practice is cute. in fact, i think that it almost looks more stylish to not match and at times even clash with each other’s outfits!

DSCN6971that being said, this is what we wore very recently on a date night.

DSCN6950 DSCN6962-1DSCN6974*g* wore a guess shirt, mexx pants, denver hayes shoes, and a gifted tie.

DSCN6968-1i wore a solemio asymmetrical dress, bloch bodysuit, lululemon leggings, jeffrey campbell wedge boots, and a coach purse. (the very same purse that taylor swift owns!)

DSCN6965-1 DSCN6961isn’t he just so funny?

  1. I know something about matching boyfriends outfits! I even wrote a post about it “boyfriend renovation project” – very sick I know ;) just can’t help myself! My only defense is that my
Mom is a fashion stylist / designer so impossible to not to get involved!

    • that is too funny! really, it’s not the most horrible thing to do. :P

my mum was appalled at this post, though.

does your mother have her own company? how lucky!
