So my niece celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago, and I have the pictures to prove it. We spent the day at the provincial park of our future home. It was really nice to get a small taste of what get-togethers will be like out there, with the beach, BBQ pits, mini golf, a park, campground, a pool, and water slides as our playground. Summer doesn’t last very long in Saskatchewan, so I hope that we can celebrate out there whenever we have the chance to! I’m just lucky to have family members that want to share time and our new home with us.

Have a great week, friends!

As the matriarch of this gang, I am putting In a request for a little casita that I can call my very own. Tucked into the trees. One room. And a bath. Oh and power. Mexican tiles and rugs. Adobe walls. Oh I can see bit now. Gracias Emma!!!

What a nice afternoon. Wish I could have gotten off from work to join you guys! The girls looked like they had a blast out there!! :)

  • Welcome, friends! My name is Emory. I am a wife, mother of two (one earthside and one with the angels), and an animal rescuer. This is our life on the Canadian prairies.

  • I was intending for this video to only be in my stories. After watching it again and again, I decided to post it in my feed as well. I wish to never forget moments like these. Remy’s typical game of asking to go in her crib only to throw everything out of it and pretend to go to sleep. Or her new one- taking her rings in with her and playing with them (after she throws everything out, of course). She makes me say every colour before going to the next one. Then she stacks them up, gets out, and shelves the toy until we have to repeat the game all over again. I let her make her messes all while trying to spend every waking and spare minute with her. These are our days and rituals. I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t wake up with this much energy.
