My husband celebrates is twenty-ninth birthday today! I found this quote in my daily calendar for the date of January 16th. Although I read it a few days prior, I feel as if I were meant to see it in time for his birthday. Words often fail me when I attempt to describe my adoration for Geoffrey. This one line literally took the words right out of my mouth. It is what I felt on the first that day I met him, and he has only affirmed my belief in him over the last few years. I am one blessed girl to have found such a kind and loving man.

/ 01/19/2015He’s my son in law and I have already sent him his birthday wish and yes I agree he’s a good guy. But adoration? Oh no my dear child. Love him be honest and fair with him but you take that adoration and throw it out the window. adoration is an improper imbalance. To adore is to worship and worship belongs under a holy roof. So scoff that. I see we have to have another talk behind the barn.

/ 01/19/2015Oh mum, you and I are ages apart and thus have different views on love. He is my best friend, my lover, my rock. We don’t have children, and thus I only have him and my animals. I truly adore him, as I do my pet family. I would give everything and do anything for them. There is nothing wrong with me saying that. I am entitled to feel that way.
How about coming to our Little Barn since you haven’t even seen it yet? Your husband only has.
