retro inspo

moonrise-kingdom-movie-image1Lately, I’ve been getting my fashion inspiration from a lot of retro films. I don’t know how I would define my style, but if I had to try and sum it up, I would say that it was probably modern-vintage.

These are my most recent fashion finds that I can’t help but want to wear!

Goldie Hawn as Toni Simmons
(Cactus Flower)

Kara Hayward as Suzy Bishop
(Moonrise Kingdom)

Charlie Sheen as Ricky Vaughn
(Major League)

As soon as I saw that post, I immediately started thinking about how my own style is shaped by movies that I love. So, readers, who are your biggest fashion inspirations?

  1. awwww! So beautiful! I think that iit is always interesting to get inspiration from other decades and different styles!!! For example a vintage outfit with a modern touch..or the opposite!

  2. EVR Creations has great jewelry. Ver nice and rare pieces:

  3. I love this post.., and one of my biggest inspirations would be Audrey Hepburn in her gorgeous Givenchy in those 60’s movies!
As I can’t quite afford any Givenchy (perhaps some vintage ones), the classic black blazer which was worn by Julia Roberts in ‘Pretty Woman’ was easier to achieve for me:

    Vivienne X
