I am not sure what it is about this month, but sales in the store have skyrocketed recently. Last year at this time, Potomac Trading Post had been open for less than four months. January sales were probably the lowest that they had been all year. I thought that perhaps it was something that I was doing wrong, but it turns out that the first month of the year is usually the slowest for retail stores (given that customers are still recovering from Christmas). This year, January has proven to be a profitable month so far. So thank you, everyone! I could not have done it and would not be here without all of you.
Pictured above are just a few items that have sold since Friday.
Don’t forget to visit the store website for more clothing and antique options, or eBay to purchase them directly. We ship worldwide, and combine items!

/ 01/20/2016Congrats! My EBay January sales are usually good as well, but I just haven’t made the time to shop (I shop thrift stores and flea markets for vintage items). I have to get back to it!

Hello, Scarlett Blog
/ 01/21/2016Good for you as well!! What is your eBay store name? I’d like to look it up. :-)))
I think that we have one advantage over brick and mortar retail stores, and that’s the online advantage. It’s much easier to stay home and spend money as opposed to going out in the cold and spending it. Plus our hours are 24/7.
