Hey guys! Well, we finally did it. After a year and a half we took the plunge and ordered gravel for The Little Barn’s driveway. Above is a photograph of how the house looked before the gravel.
Geoffrey ended up spreading all eight yards of gravel with merely a shovel and well into a few evenings. This was taken while he was distributing it.
Now our home no longer looks like it’s been neglected. All we need now is an address sign and fence. Baby steps.

/ 05/16/2016My thoughts? Pick that little beauty up off its foundation and bring it to Noght Owl. I love absolutely love every corner of your home and it is weeping for mountains….just think of all it could see with those amazing windows. O Little Barn the things you would see up on the mount. The quietness, the stillness of the early morning. Hummingbirds zipping around, peering in your windows. Your doors would be swung wide to breathe the crisp, fresh air. And best of all, a little bright eyed baby girl would be so close to Gigi. Her hand in mine. We would share stories. I will teach her what I know. She will grow up with ponies of her own. Mountain daisies in her hair.
Just a thought….

Hello, Scarlett Blog
/ 05/17/2016This is beautifully written. However, my days of following my mum across the country are over. Now I have my own little girl to worry about. So unless you plan on moving back to Saskatchewan, this won’t happen.
Maybe we could start will a visit? She will be 3 months old next week and her Gigi has not yet seen her …

/ 05/17/2016We miss you! Moving to greener pastures is overrated, remember? Best to be brave and stay in dry, brown ones.
