Processed with VSCO with a6 presetThis Sunday is Father’s Day. As I celebrated my first Mother’s Day this year, so, too, will my husband be celebrating his first Father’s Day.

I couldn’t find a more wonderful man to have a child with. I love how you call her beautiful as if it were her name. I love how you always try to get her to smile. I love that in the evenings and on the weekends she’s always in your arms so that I can have a break. I love how when you get sad when you can’t soothe her, only because it shows your tender side. I love how you agree that she was the best thing to ever happen to us. I love how you buy her gifts without me even asking you to. I love how you do all of the diaper changes in the middle of the night. I love how you want to spend every waking moment with her. I love how she’s only been with us for four months, and we now have the rest of our lives to grow with her. Most of all, I love you so much more now that you’re a father.

    So beautiful! It’s my husband’s first Father’s Day, and I’m always in awe of how amazing he is as a dad. I love him even more for it! I hope you three have a wonderful day celebrating together. :)

    Lovely tribute. Wishing Remy always has a best friend in her father. Father’s are for safety, instruction, and should be a girl’s first love.
