Happy Canada Day (July 1) to my fellow Canadians, and Independence Day (July 4) to all Americans! Isn’t it funny how we are both getting a long weekend this year? We definitely lucked out.

Our Canada Day was spent with Canadian and American friends having a bbq together, singing, and learning some English country dancing in the backyard. And since we still had our American friends visiting on July 4th, we surprised them with a red, white, and blue table setting in the morning, and a flag cake in the evening. Lots of fun!
