what i bought: zara

zara-baby-1zara-baby-2Remy is at a stage where she is currently in between sizes. In being a somewhat smaller baby, she is always right on track for her age and clothing. When she was 2 months, she was wearing 0-3 month clothes. At 5 months, it was 3-6 month, and 8 months was 6-12 months. You get the picture. Now that she is 10 months, she is slightly too big for 6-12 month but not quite big enough for 12-18 month clothes.

zara-baby-4I’ve recently purged Remy’s closet and now am left with only a few items. I started ordering a few pieces online, hoping that they will fit her. These socks and this dress from Zara are included in my purchases.

zara-baby-5The dress is actually one that she will be wearing for her 1st birthday. I’m planning a big soiree for her, and will reveal all to you at the beginning of next month. The theme is near and dear to my heart, just like my little girl.

zara-baby-7Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I love those socks!

  2. Ah! We have no Zara in Michigan so I would have to order online, super cute though (now that I have a daugther I understand)

    • We don’t have one in our province either. :-( That’s why I ordered this online! With $5 shipping, who could say no?

      • That’s it? Not bad, I will give it a try even though I dread returning clothes online (a) ha.

  3. LOL they’re in and out of clothing so quickly Emory!

    • Don’t I know it. She didn’t wear a good portion of the clothes that I bought for her as a newborn. I feel like I have to have a second child just so they will get worn! They still have their tags attached …

  • Welcome, friends! My name is Emory. I am a wife, mother of two (one earthside and one with the angels), and an animal rescuer. This is our life on the Canadian prairies.

  • I was intending for this video to only be in my stories. After watching it again and again, I decided to post it in my feed as well. I wish to never forget moments like these. Remy’s typical game of asking to go in her crib only to throw everything out of it and pretend to go to sleep. Or her new one- taking her rings in with her and playing with them (after she throws everything out, of course). She makes me say every colour before going to the next one. Then she stacks them up, gets out, and shelves the toy until we have to repeat the game all over again. I let her make her messes all while trying to spend every waking and spare minute with her. These are our days and rituals. I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t wake up with this much energy.
