from here on out on hello scarlett, mondays are going to equal posts about culture.

what does this mean exactly? well, mostly i will be writing about certain music that i think deserves attention. however, i will also be including art, books, and global events.

does that sound ok to you? good! :-)

because this a fresh start on a new series, it was my obligation to choose a song this week that would encompass the whole of my new blogging adventure. what a requirement! but then i remembered why i decided to begin blogging in the first place. it is the same reason why i meticulously plan out each post weeks in advance. the same reason why i frequently check back on my published entries. the same reason why i wanted a store. it is for my lovely friends and followers! that’s right, it is all for you!

that being said, sharing this particular song was an absolute must.

let us forget about what we are doing at this moment. let us let go of our inhibitions. let us dance and feel nostalgic and be free and love lots. for if one soulful man who is pouring his heart and lungs into a microphone whilst head-banging at woodstock in 1969 cannot transform you, then surely i have no hope.
