Beau is 6 months old today!
She has grown so much over these last few months. She went from a helpless newborn to one that sits unassisted, grabs, rolls, laughs, babbles, and eats food. She is the most darling little thing and we are all obsessed with her.
How half a year has passed by already is beyond me. Time has gone by so quickly. It truly is a thief.

Our Beau is now 5 months old.
These are some recent milestones:
– Bites when done breastfeeding, then laughs when I say ow!
– Rolls constantly
– Picks up all the objects
– Grabs her toes
– Bounces in a Jumperoo
– Nurses closer to every 3 hours than every 2 hours
– Received her 4 month immunizations
– Was baptized
– Is done her 4 month sleep regression!
This was probably the most eventful month for her so far. I can’t believe that next month she will be half a year old. My little girl. 😢🤍

Beau is now four months old!
Here are some recent changes:
– laughs often
– sits in a Bumbo chair
– grabs everything with her hands and puts it in her mouth
– naps for either 3 short ones or 2 longer ones per day
– drinks water out of a cup
– has started sucking on hard fruits and vegetables and loves it!
Born in the 50th percentile for head, length, and weight, she is now in the 85th. She is growing beautifully and is a wonderful nurser. She has been such an easy baby thus far.
Here is a look back at Wilder’s 4 month update as well as Remy’s same update. It’s wild how similar they are to Beau’s.

Beau is now 3 months old! This month marks the last of the 4th trimester already.
Honestly, these newborn days are flying by. For the most part, she is a delightful little girl who smiles and coos the day away. She has been spitting up a lot more lately, which can make her more irritable, but with some changes on my end I feel as if we should be able to get a handle on it. I will start to give her probiotic more regularly, and plan to not nurse her for as long as I do. I’m just counting my blessings that she doesn’t have infant acid reflux like Remy did. Those were some hard days.
With that, here are Beau’s latest milestones:
– she received her 2 month immunizations
– she went from the 50th to the 85th percentile in weight
– she is discovering her tongue
– she is starting to give open mouth kisses
– she pushes her soother back in using her hands
– she is starting to teethe and is often chewing her fists
– she has laughed twice!
– she tries to sit upright from a reclining position
This month we are planning on buying her a Bumbo chair because we think she is ready for it. She is growing so quickly- even fitting into 6-12 month clothing! We love her so much and cannot wait to see what she does next.
