Oh, glorious, glorious summer. You have been especially kind to us on the prairies this year. We have been given blazing hot days since the end of April. With each passing month, my shorts have become shorter, and my tops lighter.
Do any of you have the store Winners where you live? It has amazing name brand clothing offered at great discounted price. In fact, my cool summer outfit was purchased from there. Of course, I mean cool as in airy and chic! You can never go wrong with a store like that. :-)))

this week, rather than having another fashion post presented through pictures and a story, i am presenting you a with video of my closet mixed with items from the hello scarlett store!!
have you ever seen the blog fancy treehouse? coury combs is by far the loveliest one of the loveliest people around. her site features beautiful items for sale, all of which she models. yet, it was her short photo shoot videos that were uploaded to her instagram that served as the sole inspiration for my newest video. when i watched them (over and over) i thought to myself, i could do that! so i did. :-)
this is not any sort of video, but one that showcases my changing looks for changing seasons; summer and fall. this is such a tricky time regarding one’s wardrobe. one day you may be dressing down to accommodate weather for an indian summer, whereas the next day you are bundling up and anticipating snow to fall at any given moment. however, spontaneity and variety are what keeps fashion fresh and fun, and a person on their pretty little toes!!
might i add that i prefer bundling up with lots of beautiful layers as opposed to wearing next to nothing? ;-)))
