i have a question for my family, friends, and followers. how do you do your online shopping?

recently, i have been buying more and more through etsy. while i generally find clothes priced more inexpensively on ebay, i am coming to realize that the quality of items and the service is much better on etsy.

that being said, when you find a new and very trendy shirt on ebay for the price of two coffees (with free shipping), a seller’s friendliness  is probably low on your list of expectations! bonus? it is incredibly cute in person and even cuter when it is worn. :-)

hair.

if you have been following hello scarlett, you might have noticed that my hair is very short and very blonde. i have had short hair for most of my life! i find it easier to manage, more fun to style, and most of all, i feel like myself when it is cut short. however, it has never been so short as it has been over the past 2 years.

so, dear readers, i feel as if it is time for a change. a few weeks ago i had my hair colored dark and started parting it more in the middle. (this latter part is a big deal since my signature look has always been side-swept bangs.) the goal? “gimme a head with hair, long beautiful hair.”

cheap monday.

i first came across cheap monday clothing through my store. before i list anything, i research the brand name so i might give a more accurate description of the item. then i do a little write-up of the brand’s history and put the item up for sale. cheap monday had such an interesting back story, that i could not help but fall in love with the brand.

my mum learned of my fascination for this clothing line, and just because she’s my mum, she bought me 3 items.

1. cheap monday skinny jeans

2. cheap monday leather tote.

3. cheap monday jean bag.
