family photography session

In the hopes of gaining more photography clients, I decided to try something new. I ended up visiting the second largest city in our province to advertise in. Then, Geoffrey, Remy, and I made a day of it. We combined a work trip into our first family trip, and we spent the day exploring the city and taking pictures.

It made for a long day of traveling in that it was 2.5 hours either way. However, it was extremely fun and productive. Additionally, I met the most beautiful family there. She was from South Africa and he was from Romania. They were newlywed, and I could certainly feel their love and devotion to one another. We laughed the entire time as well! It was just a really fun session.

After I came home, edited the photographs, and sent them to the family, I was told that I am now their photographer for all important future events.

It was a great way to meet new clients that I otherwise might have missed. I think that I might make this a monthly excursion.

These are just a few of those photographs. To book a session, please visit Prudence + Me Photography.

mother’s day

“The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the love of a Mother.” St. Therese of Lisieux

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family just outside of the city in which we live. They have a young daughter, and so naturally, I couldn’t have been more thrilled to capture them on film.

Both mother and father were so attentive and so affectionate. It was the mother’s love, though, that really stood out to me. Their deep bond was visible. It made me very much yearn for Remy. I couldn’t wait to get home and embrace her!

Here are just a few of those photographs. To see more, or to book your own session, visit Prudence + Me Photography.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day. Whether or not you have a child of your own, you deserve to be celebrated as a woman.
