This is the last post of Remy’s birthday pictures. I wish that I could publish more! Having you all see the photographs makes it feel as if you were there as well.

Selecting only thirty-six of 333 images was so difficult. However, I think that the ones that I did settle upon embody the essence of the party. In my opinion, it was visually stunning, filled with all of the best people, and love. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

I am so glad that we went with Meraki + Light. These pictures turned out to be the most beautiful ones that our family now have.

A few days ago, I revealed the photographs from the first part of Remy’s Moonrise Kingdom party. 

When I had booked Tammy from Meraki + Light, we had discussed having family portraits taken. Given that there was no natural light in the room that we rented, we decided to go into the library itself and take some pictures by the large windows. Here are a few of those photos. I think they turned out perfectly.

We had decided to hire a photographer for Remy’s birthday party shortly after deciding to make it a big event. Much like her birth, we knew that we didn’t want to worry about capturing the many moments, but to be completely focused on our little girl without any distractions. 

There is an incredible amount of photographers in our city, so which one would we choose? Knowing that my neighbour has had a few family portraits done, I enlisted her help. I asked her if she could pick her top three photographers in the city, which ones would they be? Without hesitation she answered that she would give anything to be photographed by Meraki + Light. 

With that in mind, I took a look at their website. I immediately fell in love with each and every one of their pictures. I contacted Tammy (who is also the sweetest person ever), and after a few conversations, booked her for the party.
