Every year my husband and I drive to the Enchanted Forest for the Christmas light display. Although it doesn’t change much from year to year, I still look forward to this tradition (much like that of our river boat cruise). This year, Geoff picked me up from work at 9 pm, then we drove to McDonalds for a quick drive-thru supper. After we ate, we headed to the Forestry Farm to see the light show. With full bellies, a warm truck, and a beautiful display, I was so happy and feeling very festive.

I wish that Christmas could always feel like this. I wish that we could resist the stress that usually surrounds this time of year and instead only feel peaceful, warm, full, and the tiniest bit drowsy. Well, I wish that for myself at least. :-)))
