Last Halloween I had posted ten of my favourite sinister house films. This season I chose to publish a small list of what I feel are the most terrifying horror movies that came out in 2014 and 2015. (Number four on the list was so frightening, I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.)

And so begins the final countdown to Halloween! In honour of this awesomely gruesome holiday, I’ve decided to make each post this week a Halloween post. Because why not? I feed off of tough challenges and insane deadlines!
Today’s post will be one that focuses on scary movies. These aren’t just any frightening films, but those that take place within sinister houses. Call it an ode to our new one.
