if there is one piece of fashion advice that you should follow, it’s this; every girl should have at least one little black dress in their wardrobe.
having tired of my last lbd, i went ahead and sold it in the shop. this meant that it was time for some online shopping. not only did i find a cutout dress, i also bought leggings, shoes, and a ring. i did find more than i had originally set out to buy, but because all four items came out to only $45, i couldn’t say no!

i have recently discovered my new favourite ebay store! tambukiki!!
my most common search terms in ebay include “bodysuit,” “ballet,” and “wildfox.” when i typed in “ballet” and limited to dresses in my size, i repeatedly saw results for one store in particular. being the curious cat that i am, i clicked on the link to take me to tambukiki. i was instantly taken aback by their beautiful garments, how they were unique without being too garish, and their reasonable prices. i felt as if i had discovered a gold mine! not only that, the sellers were quick to ship the items, and even quicker to leave wonderful feedback. i guarantee that i will be shopping from them again and again.
so what did i purchase?
1. blush pink ballerina high-low dress
2. ornate white and gold slim leggings

last week we visited the northern part of our province where we camped city-style. what does that mean exactly? well, take two farm brats turn city brats and plop them smack dab in the middle of the wilderness and see what becomes of their fashion sense.
to me, *g* looked like a metropolitan prairie boy. he wore an rvca tee, billabong shorts, nike shoes, and a patagonia cap.
my look was more of a lost ballerina. i wore a forever 21 tee, lululemon leggings, new balance shoes, and a vintage headband.
we stayed pretty active during our trip, and this photo shoot as well. for those who wish to hike like we did, but perhaps need a bit of assistance, here are the best walking canes on the market.
we had so much fun taking these photos, and on our camping trip as well.
