the money pit (1986).

i fell in love with the money pit before i was even old enough to relate to the movie.

as a little girl, i thought it was just so darn funny! in my mind, tom hanks was a one man show, and it did not matter as to how many times i watched the talkie, he always made me laugh until i cried.

i love clue for its massive home, hilarity, and innocence, and the money pit reminds me of it in such similar ways.

however, clue will never have tom hanks. nor will it have this scene.

and who can forget that bathtub? hilarious!

inevitably, i could not write about all of our own renovations without referring to the money pit in some way.

if you have not yet seen it, you truly are missing out on such a side-splitting talkie.
