ootds from the store

In The Store - 5Some of you older folks may be wondering what “ohhhh-tee-deee-ss” are. I often use this tag in my fashion posts, both on Instagram and my blog. It is internet slang for “Outfit of the Day.” It is a simplified search term that attracts other like-minded individuals to my social media sites. In other words, it’s just easier to write.

In The Store - 3Lately, I’ve been pairing up more clothing items when promoting what is now available at Potomac Trading Post. I find that I get more feedback from followers of the store, in addition to more sales. The OOTD pictures have a much cleaner look, as they are more in unison with one another. Here are a few examples of what I have been photographing.

blue floral romper

Floral Romper - 3Floral Romper - 6Have you guys ever heard of Choies? Up until a few weeks ago, I certainly had not. I forget how I stumbled across the website, but once I was on it, I was hooked. They have the cutest clothing for such a low price. This is music to a pregnant girl’s ears, considering whatever I buy will be outgrown in a matter of months. Time to load up that virtual cart!

Floral Romper - 5I actually only bought one item. It was a blue, floral romper with pompoms. I honestly cannot get enough of floral patterns. I think that 90% of what I own has at least one flower on it. Maybe I’m starting to look like the crazy botanic lady, but I don’t care. I feel ‘blooming’ lovely in them.

Movie Date OOTD - 3Movie Date OOTD - 4A few days ago, Geoffrey and I went to see the film The Martian. What a great movie! We were able to catch it in 3D, which only made the experience that much more enjoyable. Coming from someone who is obsessed with thrillers and gory films, this one was equally as intense as watching a horror movie. I had to cover my eyes throughout several parts. It was that good!

Movie Date OOTD - 10Movie Date OOTD - 7Movie Date OOTD - 1Given that it is mid-October and we are still not wearing jackets during the day, I decided to take advantage of this unseasonably warm weather. I am trying to get away with not buying maternity clothes. So far, it has been easy. I have purchased a few new dresses, all one size up from what I normally wear. My leggings still fit, albeit they now rest under my growing stomach rather than comfortably on top. In two more days, I will be at the 20 week mark. I wonder how much longer I can go before I cave and have to start buying maternity outfits?
